How to use the map

Every star is a story. Stories about similar things, or that read alike, sit close together.

Look around: Drag to turn, scroll or pinch to zoom, right-drag (or two fingers) to move
Read a story: Click a star. Its panel lists similar stories; click a tag or the author to filter by it
Search: Describe the story you want in your own words /, or paste a FimFiction or fimfetch link (or a story id) to jump to that story. A minus steers away: magic duel -romance -"sad ending"
For you: Recommendations from your bookmarks and the stories you mark “More like this” (“Not for me” steers away) Y
Filter: By title, author, tags, length, date, rating… F
Groups: Clusters of unusually similar stories G
View: Colours, other maps, labels, fog and glow, era playback and your bookmarks V
Surprise me: A random story that passes your filters R
Whole map: H · close anything with Esc

The address bar keeps your filters, search and open story, so you can share the link.
